Well here we are at the 5 month mark on my quest to become a professional comic book writer.
I started this journey with an idea for a movie which I turned into a comic book script entitled: "False Dawn"
"False Dawn" is a modern day political thriller (it's a cross between the movies "Se7en" and "National Treasure").
Ken Perry (kenperry.deviantart.com/) decided to take a chance on an unproven comic book writer and drawn that story getting it ready for a pitch. He is doing a fantastic job and is even a better person. He has become a great friend.
I met Adrian "Crisuadi" Crasmaru (crisuadi.deviantart.com/) at the same time I was trying to find artists for "False Dawn", Ken and Adrian answered the same forum post. I loved Adrian's style but I felt it was better for another story I was working on entitled "The Other Half".
"The Other Half" is a balance of the universe story. Luckily for both Adrian and I he liked that concept better. So he started drawing the pages needed for the pitch.
At the same time I started writing short stories for anthologies, trying to get my name and work out there.
The First anthology story I wrote was for the "Sandy Hook Elementary school tragedy" entitled "The Mountain Laurel forever Blooms" you can read it here: myimaginationshome.blogspot.ca…
Then I wrote a Sci-Fi story entitled: "Rule Number 001" you can read the whole thing here: myimaginationshome.blogspot.ca…
It is drawn by the great Aga Marlon (agamarlon.deviantart.com/) who did an amazing job on it. He did the drawing, inking and lettering. The anthology story was picked up by KEY HOLE COMICS (www.keyholecomicsstudio.com/) Unlocked Anthology: Future Games (coming out late June 2013)
I then started getting inspired by Adrian "Crisuadi" Crasmaru's western art. I decided to write a silent western story for him entitled "What was once yours is mine". You can read it all here: myimaginationshome.blogspot.ca…
This anthology story was picked up by EVIL MOOSE PUBLISHING (evilmoosepublishing.weebly.com…) and comes out May 21st.
I then wrote another anthology story entitled "Swords of Honor". This book was picked up by EMERALD STAR COMICS (www.emeraldstarcomics.com/)
"Swords of Honor" is brilliantly illustrated by Bryant Christopher Yini (bryanty08.deviantart.com/) You can check out some of the wicked pages for the work here: myimaginationshome.blogspot.ca… and the cover here: myimaginationshome.blogspot.ca…
Then out of the blue I started talking to an amazing artist on Deviantart named Sith Abair (sithabair.deviantart.com/) and now we are working on her graphic novel entitled `Changeling`. Check out the cover here: myimaginationshome.blogspot.ca…
Not bad for 5 months.
More to come...
- Mankindx3 (Mankind to the Third Power) (Humans have evolved again... this time with powers)
- Aqueous (Planet covered in 96% water and the aquatic creatures which battle each other for underwater territories)
- Blood Red Lipstick (female assassins working for a mysterious handler)
- Blood Redemption (Western Revenge Story drawn by Adrian `Crisuadi`Crasmaru)

I started this journey with a head full of ideas and no game plan on how to execute it. After talking to some local pros both online and in person, I started getting an understanding of what I have to do
Step 1:

This helped me hammer out my writing style, learn how to work with a team of people and get published for the first time.
My Anthology Stories:
